Women of Note are women in our community that believe that the arts make our lives better and produce thriving communities that are more enjoyable places to live for everyone.

All children should experience the Symphony by attending a performance, meeting a musician or learning about an instrument. These types of experiences enrich the mind, fuel the imagination and generate an interest in music and artistic expression. For more than 20 years, funds raised through WON memberships have supported the VIS Education Program and brought thousands of children to hear the Symphony. Each year all Grade 4 students in our region have the opportunity to hear the Symphony in a show specifically created for nine-year-olds!

THE PICTURES PROJECT

This year’s Education Show is part of The Pictures Project based on Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition. Live and digital programming will be available to every educator in our region and beyond!
